a deep hunger for independence
An adventurous young woman who wishes to learn as much as she can about the lifestyle she chose for herself. Khoma can pretty much be considered rather impressionable because of this and her overall naivety. This also makes her misunderstand certain things, latch onto the wrong details, or even take something a little too literally.Despite that, within her family she often finds herself being the voice of reason and tries her best to set them on the right path, even when she doesn't know where to go herself.Coming from a family of one elder brother and a handful of younger sisters, Khoma often found herself relying on them for most of her life. It was soon after she became an adult that she decided the lifestyle of becoming the next matriarch in her tribe wasn't for her, and she needed to take her own path. She decided to prove to herself that she was her own woman, and went off on her own to show that she can be independent — to both her family and herself.She moved from the Shroud to Ul'dah and took up the life of an adventurer for a long while, aiming to start studies as a thaumaturge so that she can partake in her biggest interest — magic. Her independence was hers alone, though it was soon marred by many difficulties: the reality of Ul'dah, her family following in her footsteps, and the things she ended up subjecting herself to make ends meet.But after years of living on her own, she had picked up many skills and hobbies. Here she was, ready to make a name for herself and take the world by the horns in her own way. Stubbornly, brashly, and with a grin on her lips.

Khoma Wolndara stands "tall" with unkept blue hair and golden eyes. Her skin is surprisingly pale, a product of staying indoors with books instead of going outside and to be like her siblings.Her body is also a byproduct of that lifestyle, being somewhat soft. She does have a surprisingly amount of endurance and stamina, thanks to her work.Her face is unblemished, and generally the Miqo'te wears her very good mood like a proud badge most days. She has clan marks that adorn her body if one looks closely. Her tail is long, fluffy, and tends to wave about happily throughout the day.The Miqo'te can also rarely be found without her sabotender earring. Not to mention the tattoo on the center of her back of a sabotender and crescent moon.

Thaumaturgy. She trained as a thaumaturge for a long time, and spends a lot of time studying in the guild halls or searching for ways to learn more destructive magic.
The Steadfast Sprout. She is an officer within the mercenary group, generally recruiting and wrangling people together. She puts up a LOT of fliers for it. And might want contacts.
Sabotenders and Cactuar. She loves to watch them walk around and go about their day, and sometimes she can be found where they are.
The Bismarck. She likes the food in Limsa Lominsa. You can't blame her for habing good taste.
Romance Novels. She is a hopeless romantic and loves to read anything she can get her grubby little hands on, or talk about her home collection.
Aetheric Scarring. An incident has left her normally lighting-aspect aether marred with fire. She has the faint odor of cinders clinging to her, the sign of someone who flew too close to the sun using magic.
Slightly Aloof. She wears a very well-crafted emotional mask to hide some things that she's gone through in recent years. It'll take prying, but it isn't crack-proof.

I operate on Pacific Standard Time (PST), and generally I'm available early afternoons and late nights on the weekdays, and late nights on the weekends. Other than that, I'm usually busy.
Please do not blur the lines of OOC and IC. My character is not me.
I will not play with anyone who is not 18+, no matter what kind of RP we're talking about.
I prefer paragraph length roleplay, but I am also okay with shorter length roleplay. I'm adaptable.
I will not pursue romance roleplay or ERP with anyone I don't know or have gotten to know. Please don't interact with me in hopes of that. I prefer it developing organically if at all. I will not start a roleplay with it as an end goal.
My preference is for in-game roleplay. I can do discord roleplay if we've hit it off decently enough and I feel comfortable giving out my handle.
I will play mature content and themes (violence, sexuality, drug / alcohol use) as long as they're logical in a plot-driven encounter. Coarse and excessive language. Temporary injury and incapacitation. Temporary imprisonment. Most walk-up encounters.
If an aspect of RP makes you uncomfortable in a scene we're playing, please send me a /tell, letting me know. Communication is very important, more important than potentially keeping immersion.
